Electrician Journeyman

The Electrician Journeyman plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Working within a small team of 1-3 members and reporting to a Master Electrician, this position demands adherence to safety standards and electrical codes, ensuring reliable and code-compliant electrical work. Occasional regional travel is required to support various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring and electrical equipment according to project specifications
• Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve system malfunctions
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory codes
• Conduct testing and inspections of electrical installations
• Perform conduit bending and other preparation tasks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in electrical wiring and blueprint reading
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance and electrical codes
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform conduit bending
