Facilities Technician

Role: Facilities Technician

Location: Brownsville, Tx

Employment Type: 3 month contract, likely extensions

Compensation: $32-$35/hour

Hours: 5x10s, 5 days a week

Shift: Day and Night Shift

Requirements:

• Facilities maintenance, general construction, or tenant improvement experience
• Strong drywall finishing and painting experience
• Door/hardware and basic plumbing experience
• General carpentry and hand/power tool experience
• Ability to properly select anchors, bolts, and fasteners for the application/load
• Ability to read basic drawings and instructions
• Self-motivated, safety-focused, and able to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Perform morning facility walks and preventative maintenance
• Repair, finish, and paint drywall
• Repair doors, locks, handles, hinges, and closers
• Perform basic bathroom and plumbing repairs
• Build/install racks, desks, monitors, TVs, and facility equipment
• Complete epoxy, painting, and general construction work
• Respond to Jira work orders and coordinate with internal POCs
