Apartment Maintenance Technician – $28–$30/hr – Weekly Pay

Career Strategies is actively hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for apartment communities in Minneapolis, MN.

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, completing repairs, turning apartments, and providing excellent service to residents. If you have experience in apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related trade, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance work orders and resident service requests
• Perform apartment turns and prepare vacant units for new residents
• Complete painting, drywall repairs, patching, and touch-ups
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and leaks
• Perform basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• Troubleshoot and repair common household appliances
• Assist with basic HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, water heaters, common areas, and equipment
• Maintain common areas, amenities, grounds, and overall curb appeal
• Identify maintenance concerns before they become larger repair issues
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and property management teams
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of apartment maintenance, property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related trade experience preferred
• Strong plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and appliance repair skills
• Experience completing apartment turns and work orders
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service requests
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the workday
• Dependable transportation required
• EPA Certification and HVAC experience are a plus
