Die Cutter Operator/ Machine Operator
Job Description
Position Summary
We are looking dependable and detail-oriented Die Cut Operator to join our Production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die cutting equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications and production standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and operate die cutting machines safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Install, align, register, and adjust cutting dies to ensure accurate cuts and optimal machine performance.
- Perform product packaging duties, including counting pieces, stripping materials, labeling, inspecting for defects, and packing finished goods into boxes, cartons, or onto pallets.
- Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Complete and maintain all production reports, paperwork, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Record production issues, machine problems, and deviations from standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready work area at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production, quality, and operational goals.
Qualifications
Required Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements
