Our client, a premier manufacturer is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic. As a Maintenance Mechanic, your primary role involves the upkeep and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems. Leveraging your technical expertise and adept problem-solving abilities, you'll diagnose and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring machines operate at peak efficiency and downtime is minimized.
Essential Functions
*Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
*Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
*Identify equipment malfunctions through troubleshooting techniques, equipment testing, and operational observations.
*Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and install machinery components as needed.
*Maintain and repair electrical systems, including motors, switches, breakers, wiring, controls, and related components.
*Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment calibrations to maximize operational efficiency.
*Utilize welding, cutting, fabrication, and metalworking equipment when required.

Qualifications Required
*High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
*Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions, work orders, and safety procedures.
*Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
*Ability to obtain company-required certifications for equipment operation and maintenance activities.
