Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Traveling)

Job Overview

We are actively hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support high-demand critical power and refrigeration control projects across the Midwest and Southeast. This is a travel-heavy role leading crews on industrial/commercial job sites, including work with major retail clients. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong controls/PLC experience who can manage teams, troubleshoot systems, and execute in fast-paced environments.

Location: Midwest and Southeast travel(Orientation in Lowell, AR)

Duration: Contract to hire

Shifts: day, evening and overnight

Hours typically 6 days a week M/Sat 10 hour days

Compensation: $40-$45/hour + $45/day Per Diem

Qualifications

• Strong experience with UPS installation.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician
• Proven ability to work with crews on commercial/industrial job sites
• Experience with PLC systems and automation troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Willingness to travel extensively (projects primarily in Midwest & Southeast)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work ranging from conduit bending and wire pulls to UPS and generator installs
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control panels, PLCs, and automation systems
• Support refrigeration/cooler control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and electrical schematics
• Troubleshoot industrial controls and automation issues in the field
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
• Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and bucket trucks as needed
