Certified Medical Technician (CMT)

Belleview Valley Nursing Home is seeking a Certified Medical Technician (CMT) for the day shift. This role involves supporting the medical team through patient interaction, maintaining medical equipment, and ensuring accurate record keeping. Shifts are 12 hours, and candidates must hold a current active CMT license. Pay is based on experience, and applicants are welcome to apply in person at the facility.

MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION

• Ability to pass medications utilizing the proper medication dispensing guidelines.
• Ability to pass medications without significant errors.
• Obtain blood sugar readings and administer insulin injections to diabetic residents.
• Accept responsibilities associated with the control and storage of medications.
• Recognize symptoms of drug reactions and respond appropriately.
• Utilize appropriate drug reference materials as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current active Certified Medical Technician (CMT) license
• Strong patient care skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time management
• Good communication abilities
