My Therapy Kids is a pediatric home health company dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized therapy services to children and their families. We are currently looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluations and skilled speech and language therapy services to children in a home health setting. The SLP will work with children with a variety of communication needs, including articulation, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and developmental delays. This position offers flexibility while allowing therapists to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Compensation
- $55–$58 per 30-minute treatment session
- Pay is per completed session
- Rate is based on experience and qualifications
- Flexible scheduling in a pediatric home health setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized plans of care and functional therapy goals.
- Provide speech and language therapy to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Treat articulation, phonological, receptive, expressive, and functional communication deficits.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers with strategies and home exercise programs.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, caregivers, assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Supervise SLPAs when assigned and in accordance with Texas requirements.
- Travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of pediatric speech-language pathology experience.
- Pediatric home health experience is a plus.
- Experience evaluating and treating children with articulation and language disorders.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
