CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Belleview Valley Nursing Home is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for 12-hour day shifts. The successful candidates will provide essential patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), serving a diverse patient population. This role requires an active CNA license in Missouri and involves occasional weekend work to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with attention to hygiene and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately
• Document patient information and care activities thoroughly
• Assist patients with mobility and activities of daily living
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and patients
• Practice infection control and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate as part of the healthcare team to optimize patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active CNA license in Missouri
• Competence in basic patient care and vital signs monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Effective time management abilities
