Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Gulf Breeze, FL

This contract position centers on providing vital speech and language services to students in grades K-12, supporting their communication and academic success.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Florida SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within schools
• Comfortable addressing a wide spectrum of speech and language needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders across K-12
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student support
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to reports, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with best practices
• Advocate for students’ communication needs within an engaging school setting
