Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within New Hampshire schools. Two distinct roles are available: a full-time SLP for the 2026–2027 school year, and a part-time SLP to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) up to 20 hours per month. Both opportunities require on-site presence and a collaborative spirit.
Essential Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license, meeting New Hampshire requirements.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior experience working within school settings, including conducting evaluations and participating in IEP meetings.
- Demonstrated capacity for supervising SLPAs in a school environment.
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and paraeducator oversight is a plus.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments as an integral part of the IEP team.
- Provide day-to-day supervision for up to 2.0 FTE SLPAs (for the part-time role).
- Conduct timely 30-day reviews for paraeducators involved in Medicaid-reimbursable services.
- Offer additional speech/language therapy as needs arise within your approved hours.
- Engage in regular collaboration with teachers, families, and the wider educational team to support student success.
