Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make an impact in educational settings near Valparaiso, Indiana. Multiple positions are open for the 2026/2027 school year, focusing on dynamic caseloads across elementary and intermediate school environments. These roles emphasize flexibility, professional collaboration, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to student success.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Current Indiana state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfort managing caseloads between 70–100 students
- Willingness to travel between nearby schools if needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Note: SLPA candidates will not be considered for these openings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students aged preschool through middle school
- Monitor, assess, and document progress toward IEP goals
- Develop tailored intervention plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with special education staff, parents, and related service providers
- Attend IEP, MDT, and staff meetings as required
- Maintain compliance with relevant school, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in flexible scheduling across a 7-hour school day (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
