School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Gary, Indiana

Openings include:

• Portage Township: Serve at Fegley Intermediate School and Crisman Elementary, overseeing a caseload of approximately 100 students.
• Porter Township: Flexibility to work at either Porter Lakes Elementary (Developmental Preschool—1st grade, caseload ~70–80) or a split assignment between Porter Lakes, Boone Grove Elementary, and Boone Grove Middle (Grades 2–8, caseload ~75).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services in school settings.
• Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation in collaboration with Special Education teams.
• Foster a welcoming and communicative environment among students, families, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Provide consultative support and guidance to teachers and SLA staff as appropriate.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active state licensure and ASHA CCC strongly preferred.
• Previous school-based SLP experience favored.
• Excellent collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
