Exciting opportunities await skilled Occupational Therapists eager to make an impact in educational settings near Burnsville, MN! Multiple contract OT positions are available, with assignments ranging from leave coverage to a full-year role, offering a variety of flexible schedules supporting students with special education needs.
Current Openings:
- Position 1: Leave of Absence, August 31–November 13, .8 FTE (32 hours/week, 4 days/week) at the North Education Center, supporting students with Setting IV special education services.
- Position 2: Leave of Absence, September 21–January 4 (no work during winter break), 40 hours/week, 5 days/week at the South Education Center, supporting Setting IV students.
- Position 3: Full Year, split between south metro locations and Ann Bremner Education Center, 20 hours/week, supporting students across various special education placements.
- Position 4: Pending final confirmation; full-time hours anticipated.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active OT licensure and experience within school settings required.
- History of professional excellence, particularly for candidates previously credentialed.
- Ability to complete all onboarding requirements, including a district background check.
- Reliable transportation to access multiple locations as needed.
- Flexibility to adapt to school schedules and assignment durations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored occupational therapy services to students with diverse educational needs, focusing on those in Setting IV environments.
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to IEP and interdisciplinary meetings.
