Desired Qualifications and Background:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Florida
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior experience in school-based settings or working with PreK-12 populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Expertise in both individual and group therapy for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Passion for fostering growth and supporting student achievement
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed and compliant records of student progress and interventions
- Consult and collaborate with educators and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and professional development sessions
