Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare speech-language pathology preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Support students with diverse speech and language needs to enhance their participation and achievement in the classroom
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs and monitor progress
- Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Provide guidance and resources to educators and families regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
