Key Qualifications:

• Active Substitute Certificate (DESE) or ParaPro Exam completion with transcripts on file (must be completed before interview).
• Prior experience supporting students with diverse needs, including toileting, changing, and behavioral support.
• Willingness to float between different sites and settings as needed.
• Proven ability to collaborate respectfully with teachers, aides, therapists, and support staff.
• Comfort implementing behavior intervention and instructional strategies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support students in K-12 SPED and general education environments.
• Assist with daily care needs and behavior management to promote student safety and dignity.
• Contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere and adapt to varying schedules:
  • Middle: 7:00 am–2:30 pm
  • High: 7:30 am–3:00 pm
  • Elementary: 8:30 am–4:00 pm or 9:00 am–4:30 pm
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families.
• Approach each assignment with an open mind and commitment to equitable student support.
