Exciting contract opportunity for a School-based Physical Therapist in southeastern Pennsylvania! If you are a licensed PT with a passion for supporting students and experience in preschool settings, this flexible position offers variety and the chance to make a true impact. The primary coverage will be in the Newtown area with a day in the Morrisville/Pennsbury region, and some travel to Carbon or Lehigh County as needed. Enjoy a schedule of 3-4 days a week during the 2026-2027 school year—with the opportunity for summer extension.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Physical Therapy license valid in Pennsylvania (must provide proof)
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience working with preschool-aged children
- Fully compliant with current state requirements for school-based PTs
- Available for in-person services only—no teletherapy options
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable managing a variable caseload and adapting to different school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services as written in IEPs
- Travel primarily throughout the Newtown area with occasional assignments in Morrisville/Pennsbury and coverage in Carbon or Lehigh County
- Assess, document, and report on student progress in collaboration with other educational professionals
- Consult and coordinate with school staff, families, and district personnel to ensure consistent support for students
- Stay current with continuing education and compliance documents as required by state law
