Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold current teaching licensure with Adapted Curriculum endorsement (strictly required)
  • Previous experience or genuine interest in teaching within a separate school setting
  • Experience supporting students at the middle and/or high school grade levels
  • Strong skills in differentiated instruction, behavioral management, and data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized instruction plans and behavioral supports tailored to students with an adapted curriculum
  • Partner closely with support staff, related service providers, and families to maximize student engagement and outcomes
  • Foster a classroom environment that maintains safety, positivity, and respect for every learner’s abilities
  • Track student progress, maintain compliance with documentation requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention and positive behavior support as needed
