Job Description
Make a real difference as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a school-based virtual (voco) setting. This full-time opportunity offers a rewarding chance to provide evaluation and therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students across multiple school sites in the area near Elon, NC.
Your expertise will empower students to achieve their communication goals while enjoying the flexibility of a Monday through Friday, 35-hour workweek. This contract position spans from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering a structured, school-year calendar.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels
- Skills in virtual/remote therapy (Voco SLP experience preferred but not required)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Dedicated to evidence-based practice and student-centered intervention
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to develop and implement IEP goals
- Complete assessments, write reports, maintain documentation, and track progress
- Adapt interventions to meet the needs of students across different ages and settings
- Communicate effectively using online platforms and digital tools
- Attend required meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary team
