Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. You'll collaborate closely with an experienced supervising SLP, ensuring guidance and a welcoming environment as you deliver essential speech and language services. This role is structured to provide coverage for a maternity leave, running from mid-October to early February, and focuses on a diverse TK-5 caseload at the elementary level.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience as an SLPA, preferably in a school setting
- Current and valid California SLPA license (required)
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting younger learners, with sensitivity to a range of communication needs
- Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are a plus, though not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individual and group speech therapy sessions under SLP supervision
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Engage with staff and families to support communication goals
- Adapt session activities to address students’ developmental stages and varying needs
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
