Key Qualifications:
- Current Georgia Speech and Language certification required
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school environment
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members
- Commitment to fostering an encouraging and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across elementary and middle school grades
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff to support student development
- Deliver therapy using a variety of engaging methods and evidence-based practices
- Educate and support teachers and families on communication strategies and resources
