CT/X-Ray Tech | $10K SOB | High Pay + Benefits | No Calls/No Weekends

The CT/X-Ray Technologist at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, Michigan, provides expert diagnostic imaging services in a hospital and emergency department setting. This permanent full-time position offers a highly attractive day-shift schedule with no weekends or on-call duties, complemented by a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The technologist is responsible for performing CT and general radiography exams, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient care, safety, and comfort.

Position: Full Time, Permanent
Schedule: Days — 10-hour shifts, 70 hours per pay period
Rotation: Week on / week off
Weekends: None
On Call: None

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on scheduled, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
• Operate CT scanner, power injector, and post-processing equipment
• Select and adjust CT protocols based on patient needs
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform general X-ray exams as needed
• Review images for quality and maintain low repeat rates
• Obtain patient history and communicate relevant information to radiologists
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Follow age-specific patient-care guidelines
• Assist radiologists with invasive procedures such as biopsies and abscess drainages
• Maintain proper patient identification and safety procedures
• Archive, retrieve, and manage imaging data
• Stay current with new diagnostic imaging procedures and technology

Required Qualifications

• ARRT registered
• Advanced CT registry certification
• 2-year allied health degree
• Minimum 2 years full-time CT and X-ray experience in a hospital/emergency department setting
• ARRT certification required

Pay: $20.67–$27.91/hour, based on experience
