Job Description

This part-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT ready to work onsite across four school locations, contributing expertise and compassion to help students thrive academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana OT license required
- Experience in school-based OT settings highly preferred
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations
- Open to supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to travel between assigned sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions for students with various needs
- Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain compliance documentation, and report outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student success
- Supervise and provide guidance for assigned COTA as necessary
- Serve four schools: Castor High School, Gibsland High School, Arcadia High School, and Crawford Elementary
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
Role Details:
- Contract duration starting ASAP through May 21, 2027
- Onsite position, working 20-25 hours per week
