Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility in Texas
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective therapy plans
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals in accordance with federal and state guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adapting techniques for diverse learning needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities as required
