Mail Production Specialist
Position Purpose
The Mail Production Specialist is responsible for distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence in a high-volume, production-based environment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely processing.
Education & Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· 3 months to 1 year of production-related experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
· Open, sort, and prepare incoming correspondence
· Scan and image incoming documents
· Record specified incoming documents accurately
· Appropriately file imaged claims, appeals, adjustments, and inferior-quality imaged claims
· Generate and mail correspondence related to submission errors
· Maintain accurate records, files, and processing documentation
· Meet established departmental production and quality standards
· Assist team members in other areas (in-office or remote) to align with business needs
· Lift and move totes weighing 35–40 pounds as required
Work Schedule & Overtime Requirements
· Standard schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (40 hours per week)
· Mandatory overtime required based on daily mail volume
· Overtime flexes according to mail counts, with up to 8 hours of OT per week
Work Environment
· Production-based mailroom environment
· Processes claims mail for enterprise departments
· Fast-paced setting with fluctuating workload volumes
