Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Vermont (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy, both individually and in small groups
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student growth
  • Provide consultative support and resources to school teams and families
  • Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and compliance guidelines
