Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP license for the state of Vermont (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, both individually and in small groups
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student growth
- Provide consultative support and resources to school teams and families
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and compliance guidelines
