Occupational Therapist School Setting - Blue Springs, MO

You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 32 students, ensuring each receives dedicated care and attention during the school week. This contract position runs from August 25th to December 18th, leading up to winter break. Start your year with a team-oriented environment and flexible scheduling. After initial oversight, you’ll have the autonomy to create your own schedule—making it easy to balance your professional and personal commitments while meeting each student’s needs.

Primary Qualifications:

• Current, active OT license in Missouri
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high schools
• Skilled in providing direct services and documentation
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Clear communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to assigned students each week (approximately 800 direct service minutes)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between school sites as assigned
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all administrative guidelines
• Develop and adjust individual treatment plans to foster student progress and independence
