This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and offers a consistent 20-hour work week within an elementary school setting. You’ll be based at one site, enabling you to work closely and develop strong relationships with students and staff alike.

In this position, your expertise will be vital in providing both assessments and direct therapy for students with existing service plans. You'll join a collaborative environment focused on student success and professional growth. In-person interviews are scheduled for August 14, so prompt availability is essential.

What you bring:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with testing and therapy service plans
  • Ability to complete Texas fingerprinting requirements quickly if not already completed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with a part-time, contract schedule (20 hours per week)
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and clinical practice
  • Candidates must have completed their Clinical Fellowship (no CF’s at this time)

What you will do:

  • Conduct student assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in relevant meetings or multidisciplinary teams as needed
