Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Denver area! This role offers the chance to make a positive impact in a school setting, working directly with a mild to moderate caseload of students in a K-12 environment. The assignment is part-time, with work scheduled for two full days each week, totaling approximately 14-15 hours.
You will collaborate with a dedicated educational team at a single campus, ensuring students develop essential communication skills for academic and personal growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification
- Active Colorado SLP license (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist, covering ages birth through 21)
- Experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Must successfully complete background check and fingerprinting as required by the district
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite (role is not eligible for remote or VOCO work)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide speech and language therapy for students with mild to moderate needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records per district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
