Openings are available in both general education and SPED classrooms, and your flexibility will allow you to work at several sites—including elementary, middle, and high schools—depending on student needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Substitute Certificate on the DESE website or ParaPro Exam completion (with transcripts on file) required before interviewing.
• Experience or willingness to support students with toileting, changing, and behavioral needs.
• Comfort collaborating with teachers, aides, therapists, and other school staff to provide respectful, holistic support.
• Adaptability to float within the district, as contractor assignments may shift during the school year.
• Passion for creating an inclusive environment for diverse learners in both 1:1 and classroom support roles.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students with special needs in a variety of classroom environments.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and individualized instructional strategies.
• Maintain a respectful, compassionate approach at all times, upholding student dignity and safety.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with staff and families.
