Step into a dynamic role supporting students across K-12 schools as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You’ll work alongside other educational and therapy professionals to deliver essential occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, fostering their independence and participation in school life. Assignments are provided prior to the start of the academic year, enabling you to plan ahead for an organized, productive school term.

Qualifications and Desired Background:

  • Active, unrestricted Florida COTA license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, faculty, and families
  • Comfortable with independent travel throughout the county as caseloads are spread across multiple campuses
  • Adept at adapting interventions to meet the unique needs of K–12 learners
