This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide crucial services primarily at elementary campuses, working directly with diverse student populations in a supportive school setting near Katy, TX.
As a valued SLP-CCC, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic and communication goals. This role requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and will run from now until June 5, 2027.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency mandatory
- Previous experience working in schools is essential
- Background working with elementary-aged students; self-contained experience a plus
- Ability to work onsite full time (35 hours/week, 4-5 days)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Provide therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings as needed
