Ndt Technician
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Level II NDT Technicians to support a high-profile aerospace and defense manufacturing program. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced non-destructive testing on complex aerospace structures and components utilizing industry-leading inspection technologies in a highly regulated production environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET), strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current or previous Level II/III certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET)
- Documented NDT training, certification records, and/or on-the-job training hours
- Experience performing inspections within aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, or related industries
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- NAS410 and/or ASNT certification experience
- 3+ years of NDT/NDI experience
- Experience with automated inspection systems and digital inspection technologies
- Experience inspecting aerospace structures, composite materials, or metallic components
- Additional NDT certifications such as RT, PT, MT, or other methods
- Experience reviewing inspection trends and supporting root cause investigations
This will be a short-term contract position until the end of 2026.
Compensation: ranges between $50-$65 an hour depending upon experience (Ultrasonic Testing or Eddy Current Testing)
