As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll have the chance to serve a diverse caseload as part of an itinerant team, while benefiting from paid travel between school locations. Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold a valid NY Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
  • TSSLD certification required
  • Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants
  • Experience with school-age caseloads across elementary through high school preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in various school settings
  • Willingness to travel between assigned locations (travel compensated)
  • Commitment to professional standards and student confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy for students in general and special education from kindergarten to 12th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and document therapy progress in accordance with district policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to support holistic student development
  • Attend and participate in paid team meetings and administrative time
  • Utilize the district’s IEP systems with support and training provided upon onboarding
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families and district staff
