Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Winnetka, IL

Step into an essential role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment beginning September 4, 2026, and running through December 11, 2026. Located near Winnetka, IL, this full-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both elementary and middle school settings. You will work onsite, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week, ensuring direct interaction and collaboration with students and fellow staff.

Candidates must possess all the following:

• Current and active Illinois SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Relevant school-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to work onsite (no virtual or remote arrangements)
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

In this position, you will:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary and middle school students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to support student success
• Provide progress reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning effective interventions
• Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere for students and staff
