This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, giving you the chance to support academic achievement and communication growth throughout the school year. This role is ideal for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who thrive in collaborative educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings, preferably supporting a range of student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging therapeutic sessions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to help students achieve their communication goals
- Document progress and maintain up-to-date records as required by school systems
- Provide consultation to teachers and parents to facilitate carry-over of skills across settings
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other relevant team meetings as needed
