Qualifications:

  • Holds a valid State SLP License
  • Possesses ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Maintains an Educator Certificate
  • Previous experience working within school settings
  • Comfortable with supervising an SLPA
  • Demonstrated capability to manage a caseload of 50–55 early childhood students
  • Commitment to at least 3 in-person days per week required for hybrid applicants
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to early childhood students
  • Oversee and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Develop individualized education plans and document student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Adapt to changing instructional models (in-person preferred, hybrid considered)
