Capital Wellness & Recovery is a premium athletic-recovery studio in Hyattsville, MD, and we're expanding our team of Licensed Massage Therapists. Join us as a 1099 independent contractor and build a thriving practice inside a space clients already love — cold plunge, infrared sauna, compression therapy, and licensed bodywork all under one roof. We handle the marketing, booking, and front desk. You focus on your hands-on craft and keep more of what you earn.

What you'll do

• Provide therapeutic, sports, and recovery-focused massage (30, 60, and 90-minute sessions)
• Deliver a professional, client-first experience in a clean, spa-grade environment
• Keep accurate treatment notes and communicate client needs and contraindications
• Optionally serve veteran clients referred through the VA Community Care Network
• Maintain a sanitary, treatment-ready space between clients

What we're looking for

• Active Maryland massage therapy license, or eligibility to obtain one by endorsement (required to practice in Maryland)
• Professional liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it
• Strong hands-on skills; interest in athletic recovery a plus
• Reliable, self-motivated, and genuinely client-first
