Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (may extend longer during busy periods)

I. Position Overview The Warehouse Supervisor at our company plays a vital role in driving operational success by effectively communicating departmental expectations and providing staff with the necessary tools, training, and support to achieve and surpass performance standards. This is a second-shift role, which includes weekend work and occasional additional hours or days based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:


Oversee activities such as cleaning, picking, packing, repairing, and processing inventory for shipments and returns, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

Assign tasks, develop schedules, prioritize workflow, and adjust plans as needed; report on shift performance through production summaries.

Maintain high-quality service levels by adhering to organizational standards.

Foster a safe and tidy work environment by training staff on proper equipment use, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and leading by example.

Troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues; propose strategies to motivate team members toward departmental objectives.

Ensure all daily tasks are completed promptly, meeting established deadlines using Matrix/Units of Measure.

Supervise the auditing of inbound and outbound transactions, where applicable.

Manage departmental labor hours within allocated budgets.

Coach, mentor, and develop team members while holding them accountable for their performance.

Approve PTO requests and oversee staffing, training, evaluation, and employee development.

Monitor attendance and punch records via ADP.

Promote fairness, boost morale, and foster a positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Maintain overall safety within the department.


II. Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience:


Associate degree in Business or a related field is required.

1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting within a fast-paced environment is essential.


Skills & Abilities:


Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.

Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.

Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Ability to perform under pressure with a sense of urgency and dedication to quality.

Team-oriented mindset with the capacity to work well collaboratively.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is an advantage.


III. Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

Over 5 years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations.


Technical Skills:


Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with operations management systems is a plus.

Strong quantitative skills.
