NYC Remodeler Inc is looking for skilled Painters to join our growing team in New York, NY! Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Select and mix paints and coatings to match color specifications
- Set up and safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheeting
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on remodeling job sites
Requirements:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting required
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting materials
- Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
