Old Style Body Shop Inc is looking for a skilled Auto Body Painter to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO! Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve precise OEM and custom color matches
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using professional spray equipment
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform wet sanding, buffing, and polishing as needed
- Maintain and clean spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment
- Collaborate with body technicians to ensure seamless repair and refinishing results
- Follow all safety protocols and properly handle hazardous materials and chemicals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an auto body painter or automotive refinishing technician
- Proficiency with spray guns, paint mixing systems, and paint booth equipment
- Strong knowledge of paint prep, color matching, and blending techniques
- Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems
- I-CAR or ASE certification in refinishing is a plus
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
