Private Optometry Practice | Leesburg, VA
Full-Time | $20–$24/hour, depending on experience
We are a growing private optometry practice looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Front Desk / Optometric Technician to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants a position that combines patient care, medical office responsibilities, and front-desk/customer service.
What You’ll Do
Front Desk & Patient Care
Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Check patients in and out
Verify insurance and collect payments
Communicate with patients regarding appointments, prescriptions, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate patient records
Optometric Technician Responsibilities
Perform pre-testing and diagnostic testing
Obtain visual acuities and preliminary patient information
Perform testing such as OCT, visual fields, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic procedures
Assist the doctor during patient examinations
Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment
Assist with contact lens training and patient education
Help with optical dispensing and frame/lens orders as needed

Comfortable working in both a front-desk and clinical environment
Previous medical, ophthalmology, optometry, dental, or optical experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Compensation
$20–$24/hour depending on experience and qualifications
