• Take the load in preparing proposals, budgets, and project pricing

• Support preconstruction planning and project handoff activities

• Coordinate with operations and field teams to ensure estimating accuracy

• Maintain and organize estimating data, historical costs, and project information

• Assist with project tracking, job costing, and operational support as needed

• Participate in occasional site visits to gather information and support estimating efforts

• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies as the company continues to

grow

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience, including: reviewing plans, performing quantity

takeoffs, and developing project estimates

• Experience in utility, civil, underground, pipeline, infrastructure, or general construction preferred

• Experience reviewing plans and performing quantity takeoffs

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating or construction software is encouraged

(e.g., HCSS)

• Exposure to project management, field operations, or construction supervision preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Professional, self-motivated, and comfortable wearing multiple hats

• Willingness to work primarily out of the Morgantown, WV area (with limited regional travel)

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

• Naturally curious and enjoys solving complex problems

• Team-first mentality and willingness to jump in wherever necessary

• Desire to continue learning and growing professionally

• Ability to stay engaged, responsive, and connected to project needs

• Comfortable working alongside experienced construction professionals in a collaborative,

straightforward environment
