Bilingual Crate Builder
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)
Employment Service Connection, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Bilingual Crate Builder for a growing industrial crating and packaging operation in Milwaukee, WI.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys building, working with tools, and staying active throughout the day. Candidates with experience in woodworking, construction, pallet building, crating, assembly, packaging, or manufacturing are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom wooden crates, skids, and packaging
- Measure and cut lumber according to job specifications
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Use pneumatic nail and staple guns
- Package and secure industrial products and equipment for shipment
- Read measurements and follow basic work instructions
- Assist with material handling and movement of products
- Inspect completed crates for quality and proper construction
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Previous experience with hand and power tools preferred
- Experience with pneumatic nail/staple guns is a plus
- Crating, woodworking, construction, pallet building, assembly, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with wood
- Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
