Full-Time Phone Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Our State Farm agency is seeking a professional, dependable, and friendly Full-Time Phone Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our customers.

This position is ideal for someone who communicates well, enjoys helping people, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing an excellent customer experience.

The primary responsibility of this role is to answer incoming phone calls, assist customers with basic requests, gather accurate information, and route calls or service needs to the appropriate team member. This is a customer-facing position that plays an important role in keeping our office organized and ensuring customers receive prompt and professional assistance.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Greet customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Determine the reason for each customer's call and direct the customer to the appropriate team member.
• Assist with basic customer service requests when appropriate.
• Take clear and accurate messages and document customer information.
• Gather necessary information from customers before transferring or assigning requests to another team member.
• Help schedule appointments and follow-up calls.
• Assist customers with general billing, payment, claims, and policy-related questions within the responsibilities of the position.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Follow established agency procedures for handling customer inquiries and service requests.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure customers receive timely assistance.
• Perform general administrative and office support duties as needed.

Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
