Plant Maintenance

The Cumberland River Quarry in Salem, Kentucky is currently recruiting for a Plant Maintenance position. Only on-line applicants will be considered / evaluated. Plant Maintenance-Classification Description:Weld in flat positionUse a torch with a straight tipReplace rollers on conveyorsFlexco a beltReplace drive belts on a conveyor and tighten correctlyRead a tape measureRun drill press to drill linersMaintain tools and equipment/service truckWeld in flat, vertical and overhead positionUse a torch with a straight and scarfing tip and know what tip size to useSigned off Gradalls/man liftsOperate a track torchLay out drill pattern on linersTrain a beltMaintain a good attendance record, have a good attitude towards the job, be responsible for minimal to no property damage incidents. (All incidents are subject to review by management)Complete job duties to the satisfaction of their supervisorWeld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions no matter the material/thicknessUse an air arc or the lanceHave some understanding of the mechanics of the crushers/shakersThe ability to hear a noise at plants and know you have an issueFabricateReplace drive belts on crushers/shakers and tighten correctlyKeep work area clean after job is completeMust be self-motivatedBasic Requirements:Do you have the ability and desire to work 12-hour shifts?Do you have the willingness and flexibility to work weekend or overtime as needed?Do you have the ability to do manual labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds?Do you have the ability and desire to work during inclement conditions including extreme heat and cold?Do you have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, and preform repetitive bending and stooping when required?
