Join an Innovative Manufacturing Team
Location: North Reading
Compensation: $18–$20/hr DOE
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Role Snapshot- Contribute to the build of electro-mechanical and robotic systems in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
- Rotate based on demand between hands-on assembly and warehouse material handling—or support a hybrid of both
- Collaborate across production to ensure accuracy, uptime, and on-time delivery
Assembly
- Assemble mechanical/electrical components per work instructions, blueprints, and BOMs
- Prepare and stage parts, tools, and hardware; perform adjustments and minor repairs with hand/power tools
Quality & Documentation
- Verify builds meet critical specifications via in-process checks
- Complete quality, traveler, and production records; enter data into ERP/MES/inventory systems
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow PPE, 5S, and safety protocols; keep work areas organized and stocked
- Communicate clearly with peers and leads to achieve production goals
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for 7+ hours per shift
- Strong attention to detail; able to follow written English instructions
- Computer-literate; accurate data entry
- Reliability performing repetitive tasks while maintaining precision
- Team-oriented with solid communication skills
Preferred
- 1+ year of manufacturing/production experience
- Experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management
- Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and traveler paperwork
- Knowledge of safe material handling and PPE requirements
- Use of handheld scanners and labeling tools
- Mechanical aptitude; proficient with hand and power tools
- Hands-on impact building advanced technology
- Cross-training across assembly and material flow
