Clinical Psychologist (Full-Time) – Supporting Military Readiness

Location: Millington, TN (Naval Branch Health Clinic Memphis)

W-2 Compensation: $65.00 – $84.00 / hour

1099 Compensation: Up to $120.00 / hour

Sign-On / CMEA: $2,000 Annual Continuing Medical Education Allowance


We are hiring an experienced full-time clinical psychologist to support the Naval Branch Health Clinic Memphis. This is an active, time-sensitive search.

Working within an outpatient setting at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-impact, integrated behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Conduct diagnostic evaluations, psychological testing, and individual or group psychotherapy.
  • Collaborative Care: Partner with primary care managers, psychiatrists, and social workers on patient plans.
  • Integrated Health: Support medical and surgical patients as they cope with illness, injury, or disability.
  • Expert Consultation: Provide actionable clinical guidance to medical staff and the broader healthcare team.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise, timely clinical charts within the electronic health record system.


Position Requirements

To ensure the highest standard of care for our military community, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Internship: Successful completion of an APA-accredited clinical psychology internship.
  • Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. State or Territory.
  • Experience: 3+ years of direct clinical care within the last 5 years, specifically in an outpatient, primary care,

or integrated behavioral health setting (Note: General mental health counseling or informal support roles do not qualify).

  • Certification: Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification via the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Security: Ability to successfully pass the required government background check and security clearance.
