About the Role:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to:
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing furniture and fixtures
• Conducting minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and machinery
• Assisting with special projects and events, such as setup and tear-down of resident activities
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing furniture and fixtures
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and machinery
• Assist with special projects and events, such as setup and tear-down of resident activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns to supervision and assist in finding solutions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation of the facility
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and move freely around the facility
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
